In the region of Lauscha, Neuhaus and Ernstthal the most people have something to do with the material glass. My family history is documented since 1932 with the founding of the company Anton Eichhorn, glassblowing for chemical- pharmaceutical glass, and was continued by his son and my grandfather Erich Eichhorn.So it is not surprising that also my passion is glass. I quit my training as a glass blower for technical glass, in 1984. In VEB Thüringer Glaskunst Neuhaus", or Glaskunst Rennsteig", as the manufacture was called, I was able to collect a variety of experiences. In 1992, I founded as the independent craftsmen Thüringer Kunstglasbläserei Volker Enders.
